The Idea

Calm doesn’t have to mean sitting still. This painting is about a moment of active relief—a woman moving through a garden, her dress catching the air. It’s about finding a sense of peace that has energy behind it. No posing, no performance.

The Work

The flowers lean into abstraction, especially where I’ve left the early marks of the painting visible. I didn't want to over-polish it or hide the process. By keeping those first layers and unedited marks, the piece stays raw and honest. It’s about the reality of the work, not a perfect finish.

The Point

This is for someone who finds their quiet in motion. A bold, colourful anchor for a room, and a daily reminder that life moves in layers. That’s where the power is.

THE COLLECTOR'S EXPERIENCE

I am in total awe of her talent and the intention to detail she incorporated into this masterpiece. She has captured my expression and personality beautifully. Classic with a contemporary elegant twist, far exceeding my own vision. I am so pleased I trusted Tash’s judgment and style to create something so beautiful that will be treasured forever. I will definitely use Tash again for future commissions.

There is a depth to the painting - a darkness & light - that evokes a sense of evolution, acceptance & serenity. Tash is a talented artist. I will continue to follow her work with interest.

It has this layered beauty to it that I find incredibly calming and majestic. You can see and feel the heart, soul and passion you pour into every detail of your creations. Your art style is a stunning form of self-expression and story telling, and it's also such a wonderful reflection of the thoughtful, beautiful and inspiring person that you are.

Absolutely in love with our new artwork! This piece of art is beautiful and as soon as I saw it, I just knew I had to have it in our house. It is the second painting we have in our house by Tash and I am sure it will not be the last.
