The Idea

Calm doesn’t have to mean sitting still. This painting is about a moment of active relief—a woman moving through a garden, her dress catching the air. It’s about finding a sense of peace that has energy behind it. No posing, no performance.

The Work

The flowers lean into abstraction, especially where I’ve left the early marks of the painting visible. I didn't want to over-polish it or hide the process. By keeping those first layers and unedited marks, the piece stays raw and honest. It’s about the reality of the work, not a perfect finish.

The Point

This is for someone who finds their "quiet" in motion. It’s a bold, colorful anchor for a room that reminds you that things don't have to be "finished" or perfect to be powerful.
